WORLD’S OLDEST MAN DIES AT 113

Tomoji Tanabe the world’s oldest,died in his sleep at his home in southern Japan 19-Jun-09 .He was 113.Tanabe died of heart failure.Tanabe was born on Sept.18,1895, had eight children.who lived with a son and daughter-in- law, had eight children, 25 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and six great-great- grandchildren.

He was certified by Guiness World Records as the world’s oldest man when he was 111 years old.Tanabe,

Tanabe drank only milk and does not take alcohol and did not smoke.Tanabe was “the symbol of the Miyakonojo known as a city of long life.”

Following Tanabe’s death, British World War 1 veteran Henry Allingham is officially the world’s oldest’s man at 113,Guiness World Records.

Alligham was born in London on June 6,1896 .Allingham is one of the only two surviving World War 1 veterans in Britain and the last surviving founder member of the Royal Air Force.
